Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:


1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 ⅛ cups flour

½ cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

Semisweet chocolate chips/chopped chocolate




Directions:


- Beat butter and sugars until light in color and texture. Mix in eggs and vanilla until fully combined.


- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt (mix slowly at first so they don’t go everywhere!) Mix until just combined, being especially careful not to over mix at this stage


- Add as many chocolate chips/chunks as you want. Scoop onto a cookie sheet a few inches apart. Bake for 8-11 minutes at 350°, until the edges begin to firm up and the top is matte in color. Be careful not to overbake, unless you like them crispy.
